Charley York is a native Tucsonan and Julie a longtime resident in the Old Pueblo. The two are honored to be part of Pima Foundation’s giving community. Establishing a scholarship for PCC students is part of the dream of contributing to the community they love. Julie has spent her life caring for and nurturing others. Her work-life dedication has been in the field of medicine while her home-life has been focused on showering love and care as a wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all.

The Julie and Charley T. York Endowed Scholarship is focused on full-time students at Pima Community College. A candidate for this endowed scholarship may be enrolled in any field of study and must demonstrate financial need.

The monies awarded will support education-related expenses.

Preference will be given to students enrolled full-time at PCC; Part-time PCC students may be considered if financially eligible and no qualified full-time students are under consideration.
