Luke Richards Endowment Program

Contribute Now

The Luke Richards Endowment Fund was established in the fall of 2020 in memory of the beloved son of Jeff and Nancy Richards, Luke Michael Richards.

Contributions to this Endowment Fund established in Luke’s name, is a way to honor his life and lifts-up other welding students to achieve their career goals. The Luke Richards Endowment Program will provide scholarships for tuition and equipment for students enrolled in the Welding Program. He was working towards his Associates Degree in Welding and the many opportunities it would provide in the industry when his life tragically ended at the age of 24 and he was not able to fulfill his dream.

Almost every manufacturing industry uses welding at some stage of assembly, or to repair or maintain equipment and PCC Welding offers courses in blueprint reading, metallurgy and computer aided drafting as well as the core electric arc welding processes.

Your contribution will make a difference in the student-experience for those enrolled in PCC’s certificate and degree welding courses.

Endowment gifts provide a stable source of long-term funding that supports Pima Community College students and programs. Your investment is generating ongoing earnings. Thank you for your generosity. Through Pima Community College Foundation, the Luke Richards Endowment Program has been established to award PCC students in the field of welding.
