As this fiscal year comes to a close, our team has been hard at work planning for the next. Recently, the team gathered for a dedicated planning session to reflect on where we’ve been and map the road ahead for 2025-2026. Our recent two-day retreat was more than a calendar-building meeting, it was a time to reconnect with purpose, celebrate progress, and dream big about the future we’re creating together.
At the heart of our discussions there was a renewed focus on our mission, vision, and values. We took time not to just review them, but to reflect on how they resonate with each of us personally. As a team, we are united by our shared commitment for lasting positive impact as the philanthropic partner to Pima Community College.
Our vision—a thriving community transformed by Pima Community College—guided our strategic conversations and reminded us why our work matters. And our values—Integrity, Collaboration, Community, Dedication, and Advocacy—showed up in every session, presentation, and dialogue. These aren’t just words on a wall; they are lived every day in how we show up for one another and for the community we serve.
Highlights from the planning session included:
- Reflecting on FY24–25 accomplishments and learning from the past year
- Presenting individual goals for FY25–26 and aligning them with our strategic direction
- Generating big, bold ideas— because we see greatness in our work
- Mapping out key campaigns, events, and initiatives to deepen engagement and impact
Through every activity and conversation, one thing was clear: we are a committed team. We are driven by a common mission, fueled by mutual respect, and inspired by the potential of what we can accomplish together.
