After a summer break, the official Pima Foundation podcast, Pima Voices, is getting ready to return and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome listeners back.
Every season brings new opportunities to connect, explore and se what keeps Tucson thriving. Through conversations with students, alumni, faculty, community leaders, advocates and the people behind the programs making a difference at Pima Community College, the podcast offers a closer look at the people and ideas helping our community move forward.
And this upcoming season is no exception.
One of the best things about hosting Pima Voices is discovering just how many stories are happening all around us. Sometimes, it’s about a student or alumni, who has felt the impact from a PCC student. Or a community partner answering why partnerships with the College are so important.
Each conversation hold a reminder that the work we do is not just about a program, scholarship, partnership or event, but rather a real person, an individual who sees what the future can be. Education at Pima Community College has a ripple effect, one that reaches beyond a campus and into families, workplaces and communities.
That’s what makes each conversation so meaningful. So what’s next?
Well, I’ve been busy preparing for the new season, and there are plenty of conversations to look forward to.
We’ll introduce you to people doing meaningful work at Pima, hear from those whose lives have been changed by the College, and explore some of the programs and partnerships helping prepare students for what comes next. As always, I might be asking the questions, but hopefully when you hear the guest’ responses and their stories, it will leave you with something to think about long after the episode ends.
I truly believe Pima Voices is always sharing a story that is continuously evolving, and you never know what will resonate with you the most.
The next season of Pima Voices is almost here, and whether you’ve been listening since the beginning or this will be your first episode, we invite you to join us for another season of conversations that connect, thrive and explore the people and possibilities that make our community special.
New season. New voices. New stories. We’ll see you there starting August 21 on YouTube or Spotify.
