Gifts contributed to the Ethnic, Gender & Transborder Studies/Sociology Department will provide scholarships and additional program support to Pima Community College students.

Students enrolled in the Ethnic, Gender & Transborder Studies (EGTS) courses at Pima Community College gain an interdisciplinary perspective of the histories, cultures, socio-economic concerns, politics and identities of people of color and people of multiple genders and sexualities on their own terms. Coursework explores the stories, social movements, diasporas and achievements of historically marginalized peoples in the United States while attending to transborder and global perspectives.
