Gifts contributed to Adult Basic Education will provide scholarships and additional program support to Pima Community College students.

Students enrolled in Adult Basic Education for College and Career (ABECC) Programs gain improvement in their reading, writing and math skills, earn a High School equivalency (HSE) diploma, improve their English language skills and more!

Pima Foundation manages five funds related to Adult Basic Education:

  1. Adult Basic Education Endowment: To provide funds for Adult Basic Education Scholarships
  2. Adult Basic Education Literacy Program: To provide funds for any literacy-related expense
  3. Adult Basic Education HSE Testing Fees Program: To provide funds for HSE testing fees to Adult Basic Education students
  4. The Hart Endowment Fund: To provide funds for students in Pima Community College Adult Education who will continue their education at Pima Community College who are immigrants, children of immigrants
  5. The David and Esther Tang Scholarship Endowment: To provide funds for scholarships for students who are registered for credit or non-credit classes
  6. The Ziska Fund: To provide funds to pay for diagnostic testing, GED testing fees and ancillary services
