AFCEA Tucson Chapter Fund

The Tucson Chapter is centered around professional development within the cyber and communications space. Our community encompasses Air Forces Southern, 612th Air Communications Squadron, 162d Communication Squadron, 355th Fighter Wing, 355th Communications Squadron, 55th Electronic Combat Group, 563rd Rescue Group, 214th Reconnaissance Group, Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Tucson, Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Customs, the FAA and our industry partners.

The AFCEA Tucson Chapter Fund has been established to support students enrolled in the Information Technology Program at Pima Community College who are pursuing any certificate or degree.

Requirements:
– Students must have completed at least twelve (12) credits in the program.
– Have a minimum GPA of 3.0
– Demonstrate financial need through the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
– Write a short essay (200-250 words max) describing why they want to get into the cyberspace field.

If you know of any students who might be interested, have them submit their essays to tucsonafcea@gmail.com.
