March is Women’s History Month, a time to reflect on the incredible contributions women have made throughout history and continue to make today. What began as a weeklong observance in 1982 has since expanded into a month-long celebration, recognizing the groundbreaking achievements of women in every field—from education and science to business, politics, and the arts.
Tucson is home to extraordinary women who shape our community and inspire future generations. At Pima Foundation, we are proud to work alongside and support remarkable women leaders—whether they are guiding policy, fostering educational success, driving innovation, or strengthening philanthropy. The impact of women is woven into the fabric of our organization, our college, and our city.
In honor of Women’s History Month, Savannah Franco is dedicating a special series on the Pima Voices Podcast to highlight some of Tucson’s most inspiring female leaders.
