There are moments when you can feel the power of a community in one room and our recent Celebration of Giving event was exactly that.

Held at Pima Community College’s Downtown Campus, guests gathered on the top floor of the Azurite Room at the Advanced Manufacturing building, where the views stretched across Tucson’s skyline. As the sun set and the city lights began to glow, the space filled with conversation, connection, and a shared sense of purpose.

This evening was a celebration of the people who believe in the mission of Pima Foundation and Pima Community College, highlighting those who invest in opportunity, who remove barriers, and who help students take the next step toward their futures.

Surrounded by incredible views, and the acoustics of PCC musicians, we were reminded of something even more powerful, the impact we’ve created together. Every scholarship awarded, every program supported, every student who walks across a stage ready to begin their career are the moments that are made possible because of a community that chooses to give.

The room was filled with donors, partners, and advocates who understand that education changes lives. Conversations reflected not only the work we’ve done, but the work that still lies ahead and how we continue to grow, reach more students, and strengthen the pathways that lead to success.

Events like this give us the opportunity to pause and reflect. To say thank you. To share stories. And to recognize that behind every number is a person whose life has been impacted.

As the evening came to a close, one thing was clear: this is what community looks like. A group of individuals, united by a shared belief in something bigger than themselves.
