Pima Community College proudly celebrates the opening of its new 10,000‑square‑foot Advanced Manufacturing Flexible Industry Training (FIT) Lab, a cutting‑edge Future48 Accelerator located within the Center of Excellence in Applied Technology. Designed to meet the rapidly changing needs of advanced manufacturing, the FIT Lab allows local employers to replicate real‑world work environments and customize training, strengthening the region’s workforce and fueling economic growth across Southern Arizona.

This milestone was made possible in part by a $1 million Congressional appropriation for equipment and a $3 million Arizona Commerce Authority grant, transforming the facility into a hub for innovation, collaboration, and next‑generation manufacturing talent.
