Join Us for the 50th Annual Rodders Days Car Show at Pima’s Downtown Campus on Saturday, April 19, 2025 from 9am – 2:30pm. Admission and parking is free!
The Tucson Street Rod Association (TSRA) is gearing up to celebrate a remarkable milestone—the 50th Annual Rodders Days Car Show—on Saturday, April 19 at Pima Community College’s Downtown Campus. This long-standing community tradition promises a day of classic cars, local pride, and meaningful impact.
Featuring pre-1996 vehicles only, the show will spotlight an impressive lineup of hot rods, muscle cars, trucks, customs, rat rods, race cars, electric vehicles, and other special-interest rides. Whether you’re a car enthusiast, a student, or a curious community member, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Rodders Days is more than a car show—it’s a celebration of community, education, and opportunity. TSRA has partnered with Pima’s Applied Technology Programs to support hands-on learning in high-demand trades like automotive (including diesel and electric vehicle tech), aviation, construction, welding, CNC machining, and more. These fields not only power our economy—they offer life-changing career paths for Pima students.
In July, TSRA demonstrated their continued commitment by presenting a $25,000 gift to the Pima Foundation, with an additional $5,125 in matching funds contributed by The Connie Hillman Family Foundation. This generous support enhances student scholarships, program resources, and helps expand access to career-ready education.
“The TSRA car show brings hundreds of prospective students to our campus each year, promotes our programs to future employers, and has provided tens of thousands of dollars to support Applied Technology programs since 2018,” said Greg Wilson, Dean of Applied Technology at Pima.
TSRA’s impact extends beyond Pima, too. Proceeds from the Rodders Days Car Show support a wide range of local causes, including Elks Lodge #385 Clothe A Child Program, Blind Veterans Program, Trico Electric Cooperative Scholarships, Sister José Women’s Center, Gospel Rescue Mission, Youth on Their Own, GAP Ministries, and high school auto programs at Canyon del Oro and Marana High School, as well as Square & Compass Children’s Clinic.
“By investing in these students, we’re not only supporting our local community but also helping to ensure the future of these important trades,” said Gary Scheer, TSRA Vice President.
We invite you to join us for a day of community connection, craftsmanship, and career-building impact—all under the Arizona sun at Pima’s Downtown Campus. Let’s celebrate 50 years of Rodders Days, and the bright future ahead for our students and community.
