William Howard Warneke (Bill) was a dedicated FireFighter. He was a former Marine, husband, son, friend, and a 2010 graduate of the Fire Sciences Academy at Pima Community College.

Bill joined the Granite Mountain Hot Shots in April 2013. Their Last Alarm was on June 30 of the same year. Bill was 25 and planned for a career in wildland firefighting.

To encourage the most important career in Fire Sciences, we offer this scholarship to students in the PCC Fire Academy program in Bill’s name.
