The Pima Foundation supports the ARC Aztec Resource Center and Food Pantry, which provides non-academic support to PCC students by addressing campus food insecurity issues. Students can access food bags, hygiene items, and community resources through referrals.

The ARC Resource Center and Food Pantry operates at two locations: West Campus and Desert Vista Campus, with a distribution site at East Campus.

  • A recent HOPE survey revealed that 61% of college students in Arizona experienced food insecurity, housing insecurity, or homelessness.
  • Each year, the ARC distributes over 28,000 lbs of food and nearly 3,100 food bags to users.
  • 95% of ARC users reported that the resources positively impacted their academic performance.
  • Students who use the ARC are 20% more likely to be academically successful than those who do not.

Donating to the ARC Resource Center and Food Pantry

Your donation to the ARC can significantly impact students facing food insecurity. Whether you contribute to the ARC Endowment Fund or directly to the ARC Program, your generosity provides essential resources and support.

Donating to the ARC Endowment Fund

A gift to the endowment ensures the long-term sustainability of the ARC. Endowment funds are permanently invested, generating ongoing support through interest and returns. This guarantees that future generations of students will always have access to the resources they need, regardless of economic uncertainties.

Donating to the ARC Program Fund

A direct donation to the ARC Program provides immediate assistance to students. Your contribution helps supply food and hygiene items to students accessing the ARC Pantries each week. The ARC Program fund also supports student wellness initiatives and increases access to PCC and community services, such as:

  • SNAP benefits
  • Campus Childcare services
  • Domestic Violence education
  • Substance use prevention and treatment services
  • Housing and utility assistance
  • Transportation resources

Which Donation is Right for You?
